Does anyone know if the A330-500 project will go ahead and if any airlines are interested in it?
Do you ever think British Airways would buy a medium haul jet to replace the 767? or is the 777 going to be the only a/c in that region?? tHAnks

I don't know about the A330s, but I don't see any reason for BA to replace their 767s: 1. They have so many of them, what's the point? 2. The 767s are very good aircraft and are really the best in their catergory. Also, the 777s are not really equivalent to the 767s so they don't really apply here.

I've heard BA are retiring many (or all???) or their 767's, so for shorthaul, can the airbus 319/320/321 dominate europe or is there going to be a need for something in between these airbus jets (once the 757 is gone) and the longer range 777??
Thanks

I read elsewhere on PPrune over the last few weeks that BA have got both the 75 and 767 fleets on rundown. It might be worth doing a search for that thread. I think it might have been in the T&E forum.
