Does any one know where the balloon festival is being held in the NW over the next couple of days? I saw a brief mention on the Granada news this evening, but missed the venue. My little boy is fascinated by them so I thought it would be a good day out. Any help appreciated.

13-15 July. Weston Park Balloon Festival in Shropshire.
20-22 July. 8th Longleath Balloon Festival in Wiltshire.
9-12 August. Bristol Balloon Fiesta at Ashton Court, Bristol.
24-27 August. Tavistok Balloon Festival in Tavistok.
Aug31-Sep2. 4th Nth Wales Balloon Festival, Llangolen Wales.
8-9 Sep. Nottingham Balloon festival.

Due to the Foot and Mouth outbreak Free Flying of Balloons in the UK has come to a halt.
But a number of 'Meets' are taking place, BUT with only tethered displays.

29 June – 1st July – Southampton
7th July – Swindon Football Club
13 – 15 July – Weston Park
20 - 22 July – Longleat.
3rd – 5th August – Basingstoke
9th –12th August - Bristol Fiesta.
24 – 26 August – London (venue TBA)
31 Aug – 2 Sept – North Wales
