Does anyone know where I can find a Leather Log Book Protector in Australia for my Aviation Theory Centre log book?? It's getting a bit of a hammering, so if any of you know, let me know!!!

Sorry mate - the topic sounds like a line from a Goon Show script to me!!

The best way is to use clear sticky plastic to cover the log book. In Britain it goes under the trade name of Fablon. That way you protect the log book properly. A leather pouch may help but you will still risk damaging the log book every time you use it.

Try the "Flying Shop" at Biggin Hill.
Sorry don't have their phone number but directory enquiries will.

Try 'Pilot Warehouse'. They have a direct order web site.

I think Biggin Hill might be a bit of a slog for slug_man for the sake of a log book cover.

:) :) :)

Seriously though, I do a bit of flying myself, and I find that just keeping it in a plastic bag prevents the worst of the damage. Cheap too.

I knew a guy once who covered his in an old half-million map. Sounds corny but it looked quite cool.
