Evening to you all, this should be an easy one!!

On my scanner listening to the inbound to Gatwick, you get the: usual callsign, with you at flight level x, decending to flight level x, direct to mayfield or midhurst or lambourne etc etc....these are all obviously VOR`s. I hear alot of aircraft calling direct Timba and Holly??? Are these DME distance calls from other VOR`s?

I cant find them on my charts!!

Thanks and regards.

Timba and Holly are waypoints on some of the arrivals into Gatwick.

Timba - 131 radial, 7 miles from Mayfield
Holly - 120 radial, 22 miles from Midhurst

Timba and Willo are the two main Gatwick holding stacks.

Timba is at MAY R132 DME 7.

Willo is at MID R108 DME 7.

Holly is the point on the STAR at which you turn towards Willo to enter the hold.

Likewise, Larck is the point on the Timba star that you turn towards Timba to enter the hold.
