Hi! I just found out this site and I'm really enjoying it!

I would like to know if you guys can help me out...

I'm doing a research on accidents that had the MEL (Minimum Equipment List) as a contributing factor. I already found many, like the G-EZAC, F-OGYP, the brazilian TAM accident, the Gimli Glider, etc... And I would wonder if you guys could point out any other accident that you may know

Thanks!

Hey, I will trade you for a pizza from Giovanetti's.

Most incidents are not a result of a system on MEL but several and then the loss of an additional item in flight or lack of adherence to the MEL requirements. It is the PIC's responsibility to ensure that proper MEL's are applied and their operational requirements are adhered to proir to flight. The PIC may also reject an aircraft in most MEL's if there are conflicting ones that he feels deem an aircraft un airworthy, this is often a case when flying into known weather conditions etc.
