"Squawk four five four five with ident" :ok:
How I miss that reassuring tweed jacketed, leather elbow patched jacket wearing, Anglia controller on handover. Ok, I accept they hadn't all sewn in the patches.....

Were you previously Brent/Viking approach when it was offshore based on the Nordraug (sp?) when Harry Hockney was i/c? Oh, happy days !

Many thanks Mr Yates for the calming tones over the last few years. Unlike some of your excitable ex-colleagues (eg, PC).

Oh I remember Harry but did not work with him, My early Brent/Viking days were spent on the Cormorant Alpha platrorm in the East Shetland Basin and then I moved to Aberdeen when NATS picked up the contract.....
Offshore we worked 10 days on and 20 off....nice:)
