Hi all

Can anyone tell me why there is a 1.25 landing distance factor in the 320 qrh for whenever the fire pushbutton has been pushed??

Had it in the sim today, the instructor said it was a new addition. Not in the 321 qrh.

Thanks

How interesting!

Did you have a LDG DIST PROC APPLY blue line in the STATUS page?
Or you had to "know" that there is a delta VREF for eng shutdown with fire button pushed.

Hello.

High-flyer, in my QRH, procedure applies for the A321 as well.

Yes Microburst, when you shut down engine and push the ENG FIRE PB, "landing distance procedure apply" is displayed on the status page....but

you have to apply this procedure only if there is ice accretion (small letters in the QRH). Remember Pushing ENG FIRE PB restricts you to select XBLEED shut,Wing A/I off and avoid icing conditions.

Regards.
