Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone could advise of a flying school in Gloucestershire that is good an reasonably priced? I am tempted with Kemble but it seems expensive? I live say 10mins from Kemble....

Thanks

Mark

Have a look at Aeros at Staverton.

Not sure about their prices now, but their PPL training is of a high standard in my experience.

Cotswold flying school at Kemble is very good. Not sure of prices for PPL but i had a lesson a few months ago and did ground school before i went to the States. Chris the instructor is very good!

Try SKYSPORT UK (Kemble). Beagle Pup, a classic British aircraft. Responsive and fun to fly. I also think that their rates are reasonable.

Cotswold Aero Club - based at Gloucester.

Excellent place - they use Robin R2100/R2112's for training, the instructors all seem excellent and the aircraft are well cared for and in good condition.

A far cry from some of the other places with beat up Cessnas and PA28s
