Heads up,
ICAO Annex 14 Aerodromes has just been re-released as amendment 10 / edition no.5. This is a big change. Our friendly Tech Log linkage to 'useful websites and documents' has the link to ICAO manuals, and the latest version is now up there [Takket være onde, lad mig købe dem et koldt øl].
A mate has just done an update to a country's aerodrome manual based on a draft of this update, and reckons it took him almost as long [= 3 months] to make these latest changes as it took him to prepare the original manual [= 3 months].
Also there is a new helicopter landing area (heliport?) manual.
Not sure yet of all the details of the amendment (2 new chapters - one on safety management systems), but anyone that needs to work with aerodromes, OLS, performance gradients, etc., might want to check. As might any helicopter operators.
