I got this from a US Cub site,a lot of the pilots posting on the forum are retired commercial and military ,and some of the posts are very enlightening.
I juste love the last sentence,and how true.

"no inference as to who's right or wrong, or who has the right of way -- recognising that a KingAir 5 miles out on extended base is going to reach the vicinity of the threshold at about the same time I would and that he called base before I called downwind, I'd simply extend my crosswind and let the KingAir get in front of me before I turned downwind. I see it as a safety issue and not a right-of-way issue. Some years ago, I lost three friends who were overtaken from the rear by a faster airplane. I don't want it to happen to me, and being dead lasts longer than being inconvenienced."
