Hey,

I am looking for a diamond star to hire near london, do you guys have any suggestions?:)

If i'm correct there is one at Stapleford (private owner) Flying Time at Shoreham have approx 5 outside of London tho.

Cubair have a DA40-180 at Redhill. There aren't too many people who generally fly it, so good availability. (This does have its down side ... last weekend needing to move the other seven aircraft out of the way in the hangar to get the thing out, for example!)

Only slight downside of Redhill over winter is that the grass does get a bit boggy and you can end up with the runways closed. One of the hard taxiways is marked as an unlicensed runway to keep the field open, but there are strict crosswind limits when in use.

There is an insurance limitation that you need to have at least 100hrs to fly it though.
