After living in NYC for >10 years, I can say that some NYC mice resemble small kangaroos; therefor; I do not question the captain's conclusion that this monster might chew a few big cables and cause safety issues.

Hey, what are all those animals up to, wasn't there a flight that was delayed due to a bird in the cabin a few weeks back? Authorities, INCREASE AIRSIDE SECURITY :* If you can prevent flight crew from bringing their nail clippers on board, you'll surely be able to prevent a couple of rodents from posing a threat to air travel security (some might even qualify as terrorists!)

Certainly DAL should be accustomed to a mouse onboard. They have daily flights in and out of Orlando.
