Dear all,

Does any one out there have any exams to practice for a 737-3/4/5 type rating, with all subjects on the aircraft? I have looked on the 737 chris brady website and smartcockpit, but I am wanting some more practice exams. Thank you.

Here's a couple of starters for you:

1. Under what circumstances would you use the 'Control column-actuated stabiliser cut-out over-ride switch'?

2. Will the PTU retract the gear in the event of loss of System 'A' fluid?

It's been twelve years and that's all I can remember for now!:8

Among other manoeuvres, during a touch and go landing. As the flap is being retracted to Flap 15 and at same time the stabiliser is being run to the green band, occasionally the PF will attempt to hold the control column back of neutral to prevent the nosewheel coming down hard. Depending on how much back pressure is applied to the control column, it may stop the electric stab trim from operating forward towards the green band. Short term operation of the stab trim over-ride switch then allows the stab trim to operate normally.
