Hello!

This is my very first post in here, but I have been following PPRUNE 4 a very long time though..:) (I must point out the degree of constructive debate on each of the threads is really high..irrespective of it being encouraging or discouraging to us..wannabe's)

Coming back to the point..

I am a 19 year old, from Bombay, India.

A very simple question:

1. Since the ex-pats most probably would have to leave as per the DGCA notice next year, do u actually think it is the time for us to start our training?

2. I want fellow Indians to shed some light on the future aviation environment in India, because it is hard to believe ( as most have pointed out) that 'worse is yet to come'

Extremely discouraging

But then again..as i said..sensible debate and a very balanced debate made me join in..there was someone out there who pointed out :

For PILOTS: It is sensible for them to make it seem the environment is real bad for aviation, so as they donot get any pay cuts.

FOR AVIATION SCHOOLS: Painting the scenario as gud as they can, is obviously in thier intrest.

Who should I believe?
