Hi!
I looked at the Finnair fleet page for Emb-190, and they say the fuel consumption is 1850kg/h, and in my opinion it seems quite much. Is that numbe true? If that is much what other costs are low compared to other plane in the same size? Like maintenance etc.
Thanks!

Well, if it's true, it's quite good. A comparable aircraft uses about the same or a little more, an Avro RJ 100 2200 kg/h, a F100 2000 kg/h, a CRJ-900 about the same. What else? 736 and 318 about 2200. The CS-110 is promissed to use less with it's GTF.

Costs for maintenance is quite good, as I heard, without knowing any numbers. Capital costs might be above average, because it's a rather new aircraft.

Seems high to me. The E195 only uses 1700kg/hr in a typical cruise at M0.78 and cruising in the high 30s.

I can only figure that they have built in an element for a climb segment.

The fuel consumption normally is calculated over the full flight, from take off, climb, cruise, descent and landing.

Full 195 (118 pax) cruise M.78 FL 370 on 2 hr flight used 4054 kgs total fuel.
