Hi guys,

As we know JAA ceased to exist;

I wonder if with a JAA ppl isued by the british CAA it is still possible to fly aircrafts registered in those "JAA" countries such Italy, Spain, Greece and so on, even if it doesn't exist any more.

Thank you for the help!

Why Not?

The JAA never ever had any legal status, and never issued any licences. It was simply a common standard to which National Aviation Authorities adhered. Licences issued by them have exactly the same privileges as they have always had.

EASA are in the process of incorporating similar regulations into EU Law, but meanwhile, licences are still issued in accordance with National legislation.
