I was invited to fly in a PA28 for a trip out of Robin Hood Doncaster Airport today with Rick Rouse.
We flew in PA28 G-BVJZ & routed over Doncaster in a wide west track around to the east & into Sandtoft airport for a landing to pick up some paperwork.
Then departed Sandtoft to Sherburn in Elmet airfield to land for coffee & breakfast.
Departed Sherburn to orbit Humber Bridge then back to DSA.
Here are a few photo's i took during the flight in between sharing the flying with Rick.

Many Thanks to Rick for the invite & looking after me, had a great time.

7of9, it was an absolute pleasure to take you flying today. The 'Spare Seats' thread is an excellent thread, and its nice to be able tohave company after my friends and family are sick begin to tire of endless hours of flying.

I think that one of those photos could safely be described as an unusual attitude...:)

Flymike......Unusual attitude?...........whats unusual about 85kts, 45 degree banked turn ..in balance.... in a slight descent?
Its only the camera angle that makes it "look unusual" ....the flying looks pretty good to me.
Great photos.

I wouldn't call it an unusual attitude either... Just someone having fun and getting a nice pic out of it! I've seen a lot "worse" (well over 45) in a Warrior!

Only "unusual" thing I did notice, (but sadly, something which is usually seen!) is on the climbout photo... Hardly any right rudder (look at the pedals and ball) and possibly making up for it by flying with the right wing down.

Pretty good rate of climb though (which I haven't seen in a while flying here in Arizona, as opposed to the UK where I was a long-term Sherburnite) and could be made better by knocking off those extra 5 or 6 kts you were carrying, and climbing at Vy. ;)

Right I'll shut up now.

Does the JP at Sandtoft fly??
