To all you guys at SCO-FIR (that's how I have you in the radio !) a big thank you from all the Irish lads that frequently torture you on our sorties into Blighty and indeed Caledonia.
Always an efficient pleasant service from Scottish anytime we talk to you and its always good to have you boys at the end of the "wireless".

A very happy and peaceful Christmas 2008 and a safe 2009. Will talk to you again soon, God willing.

Not so long ago the friendly voice of a Scottish Information ATCO helped reassure me when I was faced with low cloud, poor vis, high winds and the resulting weather diversion to an airfield I had never been to. He continually updated the weather, called the diversion airfield, made me aware there were alternatives if needed and by doing so took the pressure right out of a difficult situation.

Thank you! I'd like to raise a glass to all of you and yours this Christmas.
