The fully operational ASTOR system will comprise five modified Bombardier Global Express business jets (dubbed Sentinel R1) crewed by two aircrew and at least three radar operators, and eight ground stations.

I'm sure the 'at least three radar operators' will be really chuffed to be differentiated from the two aircrew on the crew! And this from the official MoD website:ugh::ugh::ugh:

To be fair, the article states that the plane flies out of range of SAM's at 40,000 feet. I can think of at least one person who would have said 'It aint so'
