Just a heads up for your diary next year, fingers crossed for an even better day, though with nearly 70 visitors this year it will be hard to beat. Should get a couple of displays as we are working with the local RAF CRO so fingers crossed. Once again though the event is being held in aid of the Great North Air Ambulance Service.

Just to mention for those who do the Facebook thing we have a page for the event, just search for Kirkbride Airfield :)

Just an update for everyone and good news for a change, we are delighted to announce that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight will be sending a Spitfire, Hurricane and a Douglas DC-3 Dakota to display, also on static will be a RN S&R Sea King from Gannet (subject to any 'shouts' obviously). All being well from Carlisle & Newcastle will come a pair of JP's. So quite a good line up so far, John is working on a couple of other things so fingers crossed for another update before the event.

As a point of interest there will be several professional marshellers this year and crowd control will be tightened due to H&S reasons, although we do intend to keep the event as 'open & friendly' as is possible.
