On a visit to Oxford the other day, I notice a strange Red White and Blue 900, looked like it was going to paint???
Didn't manage to catch to reg.
Anyone know which one it was?

Probably U85, just came off of HEMS contract in Qatar.

What's so strange about it?
(other than being disassembled that is!)

I believe this A/C was torn down @ Qunatum Helicopters AZ to be shipped to where ever. about one year ago.

Former Suffolk County PD MD-900. Saw on Action Aviation's web that it was up for grabs after its Qatar EMS contract.

Nothing unusual about the actual aircraft, just that there are only a handful of private 900's in the UK, and the paint-scheme was not familiar!

Nothing unusual about a 900 being in bits! :)

As opposed to other light twins?
Mostly!
I thought ALL MD900's were strange! :p
