Hi,

If i get my PPL, what else do i need to have to instruct microlights?

You must have held a PPL for at least 8 months and have 100 hours PIC, including a minimum of 60 hours on microlight aircraft. You must then pass an acceptance test with a FIC instructor before commencing an instructor course.

Then with AFI rating fresh in your licence you need to find a school which will supervise your instructing for at least 100 hours of instructional flying over a minimum of 10 months. You can then take a further test to get your full FI upgrade.

There are a few other detail requirements, best is to contact the BMAA for full information.
