No you cannot fly for a Canadian company in Canada with a JAA license.

With 250hrs it will be difficult to find a pilot job in Canada just like everywhere else.

if you want an advise stay in europe its much better to finiding a job than here ..canada has a small industry and here dont expect a right seat in jet as in europe ... i finish soo and go europe for conversion better pay and better opportunities

better pay yes, you may get RHS as an inexperienced pilot but see how far that better pay goes when you're paying $2.60 a litre of gas! living in the UK doesn't come cheap...not that Canada isn't going that way mind!

Canada is doable, but not if you're expecting some jet time right away. Otherwise it'd either be as an instructor or after you get ME-IR and 50+ hours on floats, you might get a better job in the interior.
Ofcourse though, after you get converted to a Canadian license.
