Air Traffic Control RAF Odiham and TAG Aviation Farnborough are holding an Air Safety Evening at RAF Odiham on Wed 11 June 2008. This will be an informative event for all members of the local flying community. The emphasis will be on flying procedures, local airspace and the training requirements for Chinook pilots for operations within the UK and Overseas. There will also be a talk by a Distress and Diversion Controller.
The event is completely free of charge. Spaces are limited therefore booking is essential. RAF Odiham has ample parking for those wishing to drive, however, due to the nature of the event, the Station Commander has waived landing fees to enable a limited number of pilots to fly into Odiham. This opportunity will be on a first come first served basis and you are therefore asked to specify your method of travel when you book for the event.
