Air China from Frankfurt to Beijing - What are they like?

I'm due to fly from Frankfurt to Beijing with Air China on a B747-400 - and I'm frankly a bit concerned about this. What kind of safety reputation does this airline have among the "insiders"? I hold a PPL and work in the aerospace field, and I'm always very choosy with my choice of airline and try to stick with established Western airlines.... :bored:

At least I'm going on Business Class; does anyone have any experiences with this (comfort, cleanliness, service level)?

The last International Airline to have a very serious incident was.........British Airways, so presumably you will not fly with them???????
