Apart from 121.5MHz and 243Mhz are there any HF frequencies that are nominated as Emergency Frequencies? Would appreciate any info.

A couple of others immediately spring to mind. 406 MHz for the new standard ELTs. In the UK we commonly have 121.600 MHz for comms on the ground between Airport Fire and Rescue Services and aircraft in an emergency situation but I'm not sure whether this is in ICAO.

I believe that since marine RT was discontinued 500 kHz is no longer monitored or protected as a distress frequency.

...and, some (most) HF transceivers in aircraft will not transmit below 2500 khz.

(Plane-to-Ship..... 2182 KHz and 4125 KHz)
