Flying out of CYYC is like driving a go-kart on the Deerfoot. Get used to "Keep your speed up". .from ATC when on base for 34 or 16 because you'll have fast company behind you. Also get used to the view of the twin stacks @ Balzac because orbitting for 20 minutes can happen.. .. .CYBW is more geared to learning to fly and ATC. .there is simply awesome.

Last time I flew into Calgary, I called in at Beiseker, expecting "Twin Stacks, right base for 25" and instead got a radar vectored cross country for 10. I ended up further away than where I called in from! ATC used to be much more efficient before the days of NavCan . .. .Back to the topic - any recommendations for Commercial/Instructor courses at YC or BW?
