Hi every one,

Im starting my PPL again tomorrow, im a bit anxious on what to expect i will be doing, as I have already done 8 hours of flying, and in those hours i have done most of the basic flying skills, I had to stop in november due to financial restraints. Now I have paid off the course cost and begin the course tomorrow, but I am anxious on what I will be doing, I feel I may be a bit rusty on what I was taught or even forgotten what i was taught back in november!! I dont want my instructor who is the same instructor as i had in november to think that i still no everything and expect me to to the walk round checks e.c.t on my own!!!

anyone else in the same plane? or anyone got any advice!!

cheers people

matt

If it is the same instructor he will know not to expect you to pick up where you left off after 8months, & it will come back quickly.

As an instructor, I would be totally gobsmacked if you were my student and you remembered ANYTHING after a long gap like that!

I had 10 hrs over 9 years, then got back into the swing of the JAR PPL last Saturday. Last week's Instructor is happy to fly with me this weekend. As the books say, just fly the aircraft and try to enjoy it, as presumably it is pleasure flying you want to do?:ok:

IMHO Most instructors would start by getting you airbourne and running through everything you have done before, this achieves 2 main things, it reminds you of what you have already done and it shows him/her what needs redoing.
