Dear Gents ,

A question was presented one of this days regarding the accidento with the A-320 in Brazil.

After landing with the auto Brake selected, If in any point you decide to go around (after landing) Do you have to disconect the autobrake (pressing the pedals) Or once you select TOGA the autobrake disarms automattically like the spoilers ??

Thanks in advance

Perhaps not much help, but the 737 disarms the autobrake when you advance the throttles. I would expect the AB to do the same.

Without consulting the books (too lazy), I think the spoilers are disarmed by selecting TOGA, disarming the spoilers will disarm the AUTO BRAKE.

Word for word sentences from the FCOM 1.27.10 and 1.32.30. (actually for the A319, but I suspect the same....)

Speedbrake extension is inhibited if thrust levers are above MCT.
If an inhibition occurs when the speedbrakes are extended, they retract automatically.
The speedbrakes are actually spoilers 2,3 and 4
The (autobrake) system deactivates when the ground spoilers retract.
