Don't know if this has already been brought up in other forums and hate to be the spreader of bad news but seem's like a nasty Caravan crash in Galway, Ireland yesterday. Pilot and one other passenger killed, other passengers in stable condition in hospital.

According to the news the aircraft was landing after returning from the Aran Islands, I actually think i've seen this Caravan a few times in Weston.

Condolences to families.

RIP

What is the reason for the accident ? I heard about problems with the de-icing system (with boots) on the caravan ?

Caravan is unpressurised and this time of year doubt that icing would have been an issue. Think it had something to do with the approach/landing/go-around into Connemara airfield.
