Aircraft Manager/Pilot: Based Nairobi, Kenya £24,850 - £25,985 pa. * 12 month contract Accompanied Status Are you interested in flying our Cessna 208B Grand Caravan, used for supporting our East and Central Africa programmes? With regular trips around the region, you will be responsible for the piloting and operation of the aircraft. You will also be responsible for the safety of the aircraft, passengers and cargo, staff training on safety and operational issues, liaising with Kenyan DCA over airworthiness and licensing as well as aircraft maintenance, ordering and coordination of spares and preparation and monitoring of budgets and costs. You must have a minimum of 2,000 hours flying experience of a fixed wing aircraft - at least 1,500 must have been as Captain and experience of flying in hostile/bush environments. A full commercial aeroplane licence plus instrument rating held for a minimum of three years and capable of being converted into a Kenyan CPL is essential, together with initiative, confidentiality discretion, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to communicate in English at all levels.
