I am planning to be parked there sometime this year and will be looking for a seriously competent avionics outfit to do a very neat installation of a Ryan 600 TCAS system.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Affirmative. However one can always get an external IA to sign it off.

Harry Lees (Lees Avionics) at Booker is good, and I know has done much work on N reg a/c.
He also often does work at Thruxton.
Do a Google on Lees Avionics.

I would recomend Lees Avionics for this type of instalation, The quality of workmanship of this company is very good but unless you lay on your back with your head on the rudder pedals you won't see that !
The one bit of advice I have to give when recomending avionic companys is to make sure that you know exactly what you want as these instalations come with a number of options and it is very hard to be sure that each company is quoting for exactly the same thing.
