Just watched the air race from Rio - as ever, tremendous action.
Ironically after all that danger, a rather vexed Kirby Chambliss had a bit of a taildragger "incident" just taxiing back.

Now he says that he can just change the prop but wouldn't the engine have to be completely checked for shock-loading?

no matter how good a pilot you are, weave in a taildragger!!! - still at least his brakes worked otherwise he would have eaten the back end of the cessna..:O:O
