Black and red beauty is a Travel Air Mystery Ship replica. The silver aircraft is a Ryan ST of some description. Today's Pilot features a test flight in a recent issue. Nice aeroplanes!
In fact just watched some more of it, the "making of the advert" bit; a couple of well known US pilots appear, Matt Younkin who tells you about the Mystery Ship and also a short clip of Steve Hinton.

The advert features two replicas, a Ryan STA and a Travel Air "Mystery Ship".
