Hi,

I am flying over over to the TT this year, I wondered what restictions, if any there are to flying. Ideally I want to watch from some of the amazing hard to get places on foot, assuming I can get permission.

I assume that during the period of the races/practice there is some type of restriction on movement because of police/hems requirements but wondered if anyone could give me specific details.

Thanks

If I remember rightly during races 1000m outside and 1500ft above course during races and pratice.

You may be able to get decent information from Atlas Helicopters. They have provided the HEMS for a number of years and will know what is going on, I suspect, They have a website with contact details

Suggest you contact Manx Flyers, web site (http://www.manxflyersaeroclub.com/). Or check direct with ops at Ravenair (http://www.ravenair.co.uk) / Liverpool Aviation Services at Liverpool.
Manx Flyers do most of the GA handling on TT days, and usually post appropriate information on their website for event visitors, nearer the time.
