Hi,

I'm based in the UK and will be going to SA for PPL training this April. Anyone have advice on which travel insurance providers cover this activity without fussing too much about it, and/or don't charge too much extra?

thanks in advance,

SF78

I use traffords, they do a multi trip policy covering flying for about £93

Like McGoo, I've got a multi-trip annual policy from Traffords for about the same money.

There doesn't seem to be much choice.

You may wish to get separate life insurance in addition to it and declare flying as a hobby as the Traffords insurance payout for death (if I recall correctly) is only £5,000. It would pay for heck of a good party, a funeral and pay the council tax.
