Just a quick question for the assembled Brains Trust on Private Flying -- my old copy of Pooley's states no 100LL available at Kirkbride, but duty rumour is that there might be some around. I'm coming up from the SE so really will need somewhere with 100LL around -- if Kirkbride don't have any I'll have to 'make do' with Carlisle...!

Anyone know for definite? Anyone with any gen about either of those two fields?

No fuel there last time i visited. You may get mogas there by prior arrangement.Whatever you do ring up before you leave. The owner goes crackers if you arrive without ppr.Seems to be more welcoming for Gyroplanes than any other aircraft just at the minute.

Carlisle usually has 100LL but check notams as its been air ground at weekends and on occasions theres been no fuel at weekends aswell.Mon-Fri normal air-traffic and fuel available during daylight Hours.

Cheers
