SIXTY SQN 90th ANNIVERSARY - 25 MAY 06

Sixty Squadron will commemorate its 90th anniversary on Thu 25 May 06 at the DHFS, RAF Shawbury. A service of commemoration will be followed by a full flying display, including Spitfire, Hurricane, Chinook & Merlin.

Now the largest, & statistically the busiest, flying training unit in the UK, the Squadron has recently taken on Royal Navy pilot & aircrewman training as well.

1st May 2016; is 10 years enough notice for you? However that is a Sunday, so it wouldnt be too unresonable to say that a saturday night party will be well established when the birthday candles are blown out at midnight.
