Is anyone else having problems with the Met Office web site? I keep having 20 minute periods when I can't access either the standard site or the aviation secure site. The browser just shows "Cannot find server"
Tracert's show packets getting to the bt.net router in Birmingham that seems to be the last internet point before the drop to the actual web server. Pings show 100% loss - no replies. DNS resolves the correct IP for the server. When the site is working for me both pings and tracert behave as expected.
This happens both from my work machine (Demon Internet leased line) and my home (Telewest/Blueyonder cable modem). This morning and again tonight - from 19:45 BST.
