Didn't a controller (or whatever he was called) do that in that god awful movie - 'Pushing Tin'??

wow man, you need a lot of confidence to do that.

FANTAStIC! And certainly original. Hope the Atco and the pax have a wonderful ife together.
But I do think he might have come on a little earlier, before the drivers got a bit busy with the approach (selecting ILS, autothrottle, autoland, etc;)
