Hi

Im going out to Florida in August to do my JAR-PPL and want to do some Ground School Exams before i go over. Does anybody know where i could sit the relevant CAA exams in Ireland, save me a trip to England.

Has anyone gone on this route before??

:) hi i live in belfast im thinking of going out to oba myself shortly best place to sit the exams is at ulster fly club @ newtonards you have to pay the membership fee £75 and each exam is £25 plus 17.5% vat hope this helps

You can do the whole thing, flying, exams, the lot whilst you are there in Florida. If you do, you can forget the planned holiday because you will be working really hard!! I did it and so have many others. Few years ago now mind! I'll put on my tin hat and wait for the flack to arrive now!
