ATC Simulation programs

Y'all
I remember scanning through a 'pilot' magazine a few months ago and seeing a review for an ATC simulation program, based on UK ATC.
I cannot find anything on the internet, the nearest thing is ATC Simulator 2, but that only contains sectors in the US. I want to control UK airspace! :)
Does anybody know the name of the product and where it can be purchased from? Or was I just seeing things?! :}

There used to be a programme called TRACON and that provided sims of UK airspace. I couldn't work the LTMA for more than ten mins without getting chucked out but a pilot friend of mine had no trouble. Equally, I could land the 747-400 more often that not in MS but he couldn't! Says a lot for PC simulators.

An ATCO called Mike Male did one for the Sinclair Spectrum back in '83. Made a mint; bought himself a TB10 with the profits!

the program you're looking for Is" London Control." I'm sure you'll find it if you do a google search for it. Sorry haven't got the link handy.

London Control is very good. Also check out Xavius (http://www.xavius.com/) , although not released yet their new ATCC V2 is looking mighty fine.

There's also VATSIM, at http://www.vatsim-uk.org They have quite a few rw ATCO's amongst them !

I bought London Control yesterday, can't wait for it to arrive. I'm sure I'll really enjoy this software, and I hope understanding operations from ATC perspective will make me a better pilot.
VATSIM looks pretty cool, but I think London Control will keep me busy for now! :ok:

Maybe you guys at LACC should read the instruction manual from the above program 'London Control'.

Look under the sections 'presentation of traffic' and 'Adjacent sector appreciation'. You might learn something!!

Make it 4 miles wide, see if we care, if you want all the departures steamed that's fine by us, may as well give us up to FL285 there and we'll give the LTMA stuff to TC too, meanwhile if someone could have a word about Leeds being to the right of Manchester, and that while all your departures come in a nice line from MACC, at some point the 4 abreast that we are handed too high at TRENT do at some point have to land, and so if that could maybe get put on a post-it next to the S28 radar that would be great.

If any of you boys and girls want your cars washing, we could probably fly down after a 2nd morning and do that too.

VATSIM is certainly the best, been on there for 3 years and still going strong! Best if you want Virtual ATC that is, if you want a simulation program then LC is brilliant.

the best simulation programme out there is micronav, look at the website. unfortunately you will have to pay for it, but all uk atco's are being trained on it.
