As I said in another thread:

All I want for Christmas is some good weather next week.

Well, today was perfect. Although it was icy and misty early on, it had cleared by the time my aircraft was booked. An hour and a half of steep turns, stalling, PFLs and circuits later, I had completed my check flight and revalidated by experience.

It's been a long, hard struggle this year. I've had all the usual problems with bad weather, aircraft going tech and lack of money... but somehow it's all come together. :ok:

Thank you!

I didn't want to tempt fate ... so Mr AB and I planned a roast for dinner. However, he will be picking up a bottle of something yellow and fizzy, and NOT lager, on the way home. :ok:

Replied to your PM just before reading your post! Thanks for the input.

Still can't quite believe the weather/aircraft/instructor came good in time for me to revalidate. :D Almost a first-solo-type-grin. :p
