Any 737 crews out there please assist in my survey of the calls that different airlines use. Especially interested in the HGS/HUD operators.
We are in the process of adding additional HUd calls.
Aim is to ensure no inadvertant IMC modes instead of AIII and subs no flare cue.
Our current calls are:
Rad alt alive
1,000ft RA “1000”* “Flare Armed – Autoland”
OR
“Flare Armed – Manual Landing”
OR
AIII -Manual Landing (new)
OR
“Manual Landing”
(for single autopilot approach)
500 stable
At 100ft above
DA / DH

50ft – Autoland “Flare Capture”
OR
