As an aside from all the discussion generated whenever one raises the subject of non-english R/T, would anyone have any references for national R/T training publications in a similar vein to the UK's CAP413 (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/CAP413.PDF)?

Either books for purchase by students, websites, or any other useful media, for learning R/T in French, Spanish, German and/or Italian.

Thanks all,

GL

I know it isn't much, but perhaps you might be interested in the Italian Air Force Air Traffic Services Manual. It has a cross-reference table between English and Italian ATC phraseology.

You can find this document at:
http://www.aeronautica.difesa.it/SitoAM/Images/SitoAm_12112331-1.pdf
(See "CAPITOLO XII", page 318 of .pdf file)

I hope this helps.

And for anyone else interested, I've also just been alerted to:

French R/T Manual (http://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/asp/texteregle/texteregle-c.asp?ordre_0=9&ordre_1=1&lang=uk)

Of particular interest for those anglophones wishing to improve their Situational Awareness whilst in French airspace is: Chapitre 3 - Déroulement chronologique d’un vol (http://www.sia.aviation-civile.gouv.fr/dossier/texteregle/PHRASEO_CHAP03_V4.pdf) which follows a flight from A-B with french R/T and english translations.

there is no specific manual for R/T in the US as far as i know, atleast not similar to the CAP413.
If you want to know about the FAA R/T you can find information here:
-AIM (http://www.faa.gov/ATpubs/AIM/)
-Pilot/Controller Glossary (http://www.faa.gov/ATpubs/PCG/)
-Air Traffic Control order (http://www.faa.gov/ATpubs/ATC/)
