Hi everyone just wondering if you could help?

We got a bleed trip off on a flight the other day and following the QRH we couldn't solve the problem wich meant that we had to go single pack. After ldg and for the return flight we had to fly at max FL250.The big BUT is... by selecting isolation valve open the problem is solved and both packs can be used and the bleed trip off doesn't reoccur.
My question is , would this be recommended?

As not per QRH - no...

OTOH, if you have selected the affected pack switch OFF with the iso valve switch in AUTO - the isolation valve should already be open, so - what would be the difference?

what way the problem is solved?
That you can use both packs?..A bit dangerous, using both packs on a single source during flight,it can lead to a bleed trip off on that single source, the result beeing depresurization.
The higher you fly,the increased risk for bleed trip off in such a case. Also longer the emerg desc.
