I've seen in this weeks "Flight International" that somebody is looking for pilots/ instructors with +3000 hours to fly C172's and C182's.
Does anyone know where the company/school is based? I know that the recruitment company is based in Ireland.

I think a new ad on FI explains, although through a different agency. Must be for the same outfit I'd say.
172/182 instructor (http://www.flightinternational.com/fi_jobs2/JobDetail.asp?lijobid=1103738&JobTypes=3&JobRegions=0&JobPositions=0&sKeywords=&nPage=1)
The original ad not only asked for those 3000 hours, but also wanted said instructor to be a TRI/TRE and be type rated him/herself. Bizarre......

Thank you "IRRenewal". I'm pretty certain that I now know the company in question.
Nice location, good pay, etc. Unfortunately I'll never persuade my family to move out there; and so that's the end of that.
I'll be amazed if they actually find people who match their requirements...??? It seems a bit strange that two recruitment companies are involved. At first I thought that the positions may have been for a large commercial school in Sweden.

I assumed it was for the Doha operation (Quatar) training pilots for the gulf airlines.

I assumed that the vacancy would be for either the school in Qatar or the new operation at Al Ain (Horizon).
Either way they seem to be having a little difficulty in finding staff.

Try a search on `Rotorheads` for `AlAin` and it may explain.......
