electronics on or off when not in use

I operate an aircraft in a remote and cold part of the world. There are no navaids not any aircraft equipped with tcas within 1500nm in any direction and none transit here. When parked the aircraft are subjected to temps well below -20C, and the climate is one of the driest in the world.

When flying, should I turn the unused electronics on regularly/occasionally to provide some heat into them or does it not really matter?

Specifically: NDB, VOR, Txpr, Wx Radar.

My inclination is to turn them on standby when operating the a/c as warm air will be circulating and condensation (even though the climate may be dry, breath from people and wet clothing and melting snow tracked in will make for moisture inside) may deposit on stuff that's below ambient temperature inside and do the freeze/thaw thing.

On the other hand, the thermal range the electronics are exposed to will increase.

An avionics shop with arctic experience will likely have better information.
