My dearest colleagues,

could anyone tell me:
1)where on this Earth an experienced Russian controller could find a job?
2) do you know any person from the ex-USSR working as an ATCO outside the C.I.S.?

Thanks to all.

P.s. Our job is great but is $400 a month a worthy compensation for the grey hair and responsibility we take each day?..

The UK college of Air Traffic Control has one!!

I think that the man in question may have worked in the UK prior to this.

Apparantly he used to fly MIG's in the Russian Air Force in Afghanistan!

Quite an asset for the college then!!!

Maybe we should employ him at LATCC to talk to the Balkan/Uzbekh aircraft!!

It doesn't sound too optimistic for me. Anyway thanks to all who replied.
The Middle East looks more real. Who has experience of employment there? Please give some clues about how to present myself in the best way.
