I am preparing to give groundschools on the CRJ-200. A number of my students will be direct Captains after completing the Type Rating.

I am looking for accounts of real world abnormal/emergency situations/events.

Also if someone could tell me about mechanical problems and malfunctions that they have had with the RJ-200.

I have just completed the groundschool my self and I am going deeper into the books now.

Any info or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

If your aircraft have not received the fix for relief from the flap AD, that might be a place to start as far as systems. Another area is the QRH. Dunno if its changed but it for the most part only addressed singe fail and not combined failures other than I think hydraulics.
Speaking of hyd's look over complete hyd failure and the lack of manual reversion. See how few options you have should you have a complete hyd failure.

It was/is a quirky bird, you should have no problem finding systems related questions.

Talk about how damn close those wing tips are to the ground, especially in crosswind landings.
